Alas, so it's that time of the year when all my favourite shows are about to end. Tonight is the season finale of LOST, which I'm both looking forward to and dreading. The former, because the producers have promised this will be a ridiculously crazy finale, and the latter, because now that means I'll have to wait until FEBRUARY for the new (and last season) to come on.
And don't get me started on the show ending. Yes, I want to get all the answers--what the hell is this island?! But I don't know what I'll do when LOST isn't on TV anymore. I fear I'll enter a depression.
It got me thinking about other shows I've watched that ended, and whether I thought the final episodes were satisfying. Here are the shows I miss the most:
1) Seinfeld--and the last episode was perfect, bringing back all the characters from over the years (the soup Nazi! Babu! The Virgin! The low-talker!)
2) Friends--last episode was okay, Ross and Rachel getting back together, but it made me sad that Monica and Chandler were moving out of the city. I like it when shows end giving me the impression the characters are still up to the same stuff even though we can't see it.
3) Beverly Hills 90210 (the original)--fine, so I'm a loser, but I really do miss that show. The new one isn't as great as the original, and I miss Brandon and Dylan! I've caught a few episodes of the new one, and it annoys me that Kelly is the only original on it (she was always the one I hated the most!)
That's all I can think of for now. Do you guys have any shows that went off the air that you really miss? What did you think of their series finales?

I'm not one who watches much TV at all. I love tho, TV Land with the older shows. I'm one that seems to want to watch those and not get into the newer dramas.
Dallas - Yep Loved that one! I like the night time soaps. Falcon's Crest was good too and Melrose Place

I love Lost too. I'm not sure I'll get to watch it tonight, but I'm recording it on DVR. I just finished Lie To Me's season finale and loved it.
I miss early Melrose Place & especially Lipstick Jungle.I'm hoping it'll come back again.
Oh, I'm so glad to see there are other Melrose Place fans out there. I always felt like such a loser for liking that show because all my friends made fun of me for watching it. Yay! I'm not alone!

I never got into "LOST", although, it was an interesting premise.
I love this time of year, I am ready for the season to be over (am I a loser?). I love watching shows, but I am looking forward to watching "West Wing" this summer.
I will miss DWTS. I loved MP and 90210 (the old one, I do like the new one, but for different reasons).
I don't think Lipstick Jungle is coming back. They cancelled it, which is a shame. I liked that show.

I'm going to miss Medium, Lie to Me, and omg, did anyone else love the season finale of House? wasn't that a shocker? I also like The Mentalist and I'm absolutely LOVING this new show SOUTHLAND. SO realistic.
Mad About You, although the last episode was kinda sappy ;) I'm blanking on some other favorites...
