All I Watch

I just realized all I watch is reality tv. The only thing I watch on a regular basis that isn't a reality show is Hannah Montana. And iCarly. (Thanks kids! LOL)

How sad is that?

Who knew that reality shows would stick around this long? But I guess it makes sense. They're cheap to produce for the networks. And you can pour out an endless stream of them. Some of them have been so ridiculous (hello My Big, Fat, Obnoxious Fiance! And yes, OMG I watched it) and some of them have been on forever (Survivor! Which I've never watched). And they just keep on keepin' on...

I'm addicted to Hell's Kitchen. And Celebrity Apprentice (don't hold it against me - it's good! We brought my mom over to the dark side and hooked her!). Ahh, Millionaire Matchmaker. And though I always vow to never watch it again, American Idol (thanks to my Adam Lambert obsession).

All of these shows are gearing up to end. This makes me so sad. What will I watch? Oh, the suffering!

Wait! Big Brother will be on come July! All is well, I'll get my reality fix.

Are you still watching reality tv? Or do you ban it from your television? Please say you're right there with me...

The only reality show I still watch is The Biggest Loser Couples. I gave up on Survivor several seasons ago and gave up on Idol last year. It seems like the only shows on in the summer anymore are reality shows, so I get to watch lots of old tv shows or movies on dvd.

yes, I watch "celebrity apprentice" (I think you, my husband and I are the only ones who do, but yet they renewed it). I love "The Amazing Race" and "DWTS". That's about it. The rest are dramas.

Does Antiques Roadshow count?

I gave up on most reality shows. Other than like Ice Road Truckers and Long Way Round.

I watch the reality ones that don't really have a prize at the end. More like documentaries.

Katie, LOL, my husband watches it too. We DVR it and then watch it together. Aw, quality couple time, LMAO.

And yes Lori I'll count Antique Road Show. ;)

Once AI is over, I usually watch SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. It's one of the most fabulous dance shows and you wind up LOVING the dancers. Last season was incredible...I don't like watching a lot of reality tv..but there are a few exceptions.

I'm not a big fan of reality TV, but my husband loves AI so I usually end up sucked into that particular black hole.

I guess I get enough reality at home with my teens. I need fiction. Can't stand reality TV. But my mom LOVES Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and America's Top Model.
I watch The Medium, The Mentalist, (ok, so I just think Simon Baker is cute)and the new drama, Southland! Wow, it's so real, it's almost reality. Um...that made sense when my brain thought it. :)

I keep hearing good things about Southland. I think I wanna check it out. And Juliet, that sentence made total sense, really it did, LOL. ;)

Yep DWTS definitely counts. ;)

I used to love ANTM but it started to feel the same cycle after cycle. So I don't watch it anymore...

I watch copious amounts of reality tv. It's my not so secret shame.

I watch American Idol and America's Next Top Model. I gave up on Survivor because it's always the same thing, and the Amazing Race kept changing days so many times I never knew when it was on, so I just stopped looking for it lol

And I can't believe you like Adam Lambert. I don't know why, but he rubs me the wrong way. I call him Gimmick Hair, because he's got, well, gimmick hair LOL! I guess he's a good singer, but like I said, something about him bugs the crap outta me!

My husband stopped watching ANTM. He said it was becoming too repetative. This cycle is actually pretty boring (why, I don't know). Probably, it annoys me when Tyra does her, "there once lived a model who mentored girls..." intro.

Elle I don't really like his hair. Lately it's been more subtle which is better. I can't help myself. I think he's hawt. Sigh...

And yeah Katie that's my prob with ANTM. Same thing, different girls. And they never really go on to have spectacular careers in modeling. What's up with that?
